About the role
Oracle's Global Finance Information Center supports cash application operations for LAD countries. The Cash Application Analyst – Spanish manages customer payments, applies receipts to accounts receivable invoices, and resolves unapplied cash and payment discrepancies. The role collaborates with Spanish-speaking customers and internal Collections, AR, and Sales teams, performs reconciliations, supports month-end close, and contributes to process improvement.
What you will do
- Manage customer-payment activities for assigned LAD countries.
- Identify customer receipts and accurately apply payments to the appropriate AR invoices.
- Ensure timely and accurate cash posting.
- Maintain accurate customer-payment records and supporting documentation.
- Research and resolve unapplied cash.
- Investigate unidentified receipts.
- Resolve short payments and overpayments.
- Investigate payment discrepancies and determine appropriate next steps.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to obtain missing payment or remittance information.
- Collaborate closely with customers and Collections to identify payments and determine appropriate invoice allocation.
- Partner with Accounts Receivable, Sales, and other internal teams to resolve account issues.
- Use Spanish-language capability where required to support LAD customer-payment operations.
- Perform customer-account and payment reconciliations.
- Investigate reconciliation differences and coordinate resolution.
- Support relevant month-end close activities.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reporting.
- Identify recurring cash-application issues.
- Support root-cause analysis of recurring payment discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities to improve cash-application accuracy and efficiency.
- Contribute to process improvements that reduce recurring payment-application issues.
