About the role
Jio's core maintenance function manages fiber network assets, materials and contracts for inter, intra and access networks, monitoring performance against defined SLAs and supporting infra and access electronics. The role is based in Gandhidham, Gujarat, within the telecom fiber operations domain. This engineer will maintain fiber network quality, coordinate with the network operations center and ISP core team on fault restoration and critical issue resolution, and drive KPI achievement while ensuring quality, health, safety, environment and fire policies are implemented.
What you will do
- Manage assets, materials and contracts for the core maintenance point
- Monitor performance of fiber network against defined SLAs
- Support operation and maintenance of infra and access electronics against defined SLAs
- Provide details of fiber spans for inter, intra and access network
- Coordinate with network operations center for issue resolution
- Collaborate with operation and maintenance /ISP core team for critical issue resolution
- Ensure sufficient material in CMP warehouse for fiber operation, Drive and monitor the KPI achievements
- Ensure implementation of quality, health, safety, environment and fire policies
- Maintain quality of fiber network and insure quality of work during fault restoration
