About the role
YouTube’s Trust & Safety team works to make YouTube safe for users, viewers, and creators by addressing online content concerns, navigating global legal frameworks, and writing and enforcing worldwide policy. This role enforces YouTube’s content policies, including misinformation, manages escalations in the content policy space, and reviews graphic and controversial video content in line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines. It sits within the Hyderabad Content Specialist team in the Trust and Safety organization.
What you will do
- Enforce YouTube’s content policies, including misinformation, and ensure high quality policy enforcement, as part of the Hyderabad Content Specialist team within the Trust and Safety organization.
- Manage escalations in the content policy space while ensuring high quality enforcement and clear written communication and policy analysis.
- Review and manage escalations from graphic and controversial video content in line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines.
Skills used in this role
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in content policy, anti-abuse and reviewing online content.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive strategy and business action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to direct cross-functionally at various levels.
