About the role
Reliance Jio is hiring for its Civil & Construction team, seeking experienced professionals across multiple levels based at RCP, Navi Mumbai. The team executes construction of facilities and infrastructure projects, covering execution planning, drawing review, stakeholder and vendor coordination, cost monitoring, and quality and safety compliance. This role owns project execution from plan preparation through vendor and contractor management to timely project closure and material reconciliation, with electrical engineering exposure across HT/LT power distribution, transformers, DG & UPS systems and protection and earthing.
What you will do
- Prepare execution plan as per the construction plan allotted for project.
- Prepare project management plan for construction of facilities with-in budget.
- Review drawings and highlight any potential conflicts for speedy resolution.
- Coordination with all stakeholders for issue resolution, construction progress and resource allocation.
- Ensure effective vendor management for smooth flow of project.
- Review project progress and monitor cost and all vendor / contractor payments.
- Coordination with O&M for system handover.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety norms for project closure.
- Ensure project closure and material reconciliation within timelines.
- Guide on value engineering to reduce project cost.
- Develop a detailed execution plan aligned with the construction plan for each project.
- Prepare a comprehensive project management plan ensuring the construction of projects within the allocated budget.
- Review drawings and coordinate with the project engineering team to address any corrections needed.
- Create a project schedule and mobilize resources in coordination with all stakeholders involved.
- Ensure smooth project flow by managing vendors effectively and maintaining communication.
- Regularly review project progress and monitor costs and payments.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders involved in managing project progress.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate timely project closure and reconcile materials used within specified timelines.
