About the role

The finance and accounting function at the Bank's Lucknow location supports financial reporting, compliance, audit, and governance activities. This on-site industrial traineeship involves assisting with financial statement preparation, regulatory and internal compliance, periodic reporting and analysis, audits, reconciliations, documentation, management reporting, and process improvements under senior finance professionals.
What you will do
- assisting in financial statement preparation, supporting regulatory and internal compliance activities, and helping with periodic reporting and analysis
- The trainee will work with cross-functional teams on audits, reconciliations, and documentation, and contribute to process improvements and controls within the finance function.
- The role also involves using banking and financial systems, preparing management reports, and supporting risk and governance frameworks under the guidance of senior finance professionals.

What the employer is looking for
- Should be a Chartered Accountancy student eligible for industrial training as per ICAI guidelines, with a strong foundation in accounting and auditing principles.
- Should possess skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and variance reporting to support business and regulatory requirements.
- Should have knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, regulatory compliance, and basic RBI/Banking regulations.
- Should be comfortable working with MS Excel, financial software, and data analysis tools, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Should demonstrate effective communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced banking environment.
- Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial data.
- Prior exposure to banking, financial services, or audit assignments will be an added advantage.
