About the role
Jio is hiring a Channel Sales Lead for Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, to drive distribution and retail expansion for its telecom business. The role focuses on SIM activations at retail outlets, growing revenue market share through retail width and product availability, and managing channel partner and distributor productivity. It also involves stock adequacy, field sales training, ROI of distributors and retailers, and monitoring competitor activity for reporting to the Jio Center and State S&D team.
What you will do
- Responsible for sim activations at retail outlets as per targets.
- Drive revenue market share by increasing retail width and product, availability.
- Manage productivity of channel partners & distributor.
- Train and ensure required field sales executive with distributors.
- Ensure distributors / retailers maintain adequate stocks.
- Strengthen distribution by increasing recharge selling outlets, SIM, selling outlets.
- Drive basic distribution parameters - ROI of distributors & retailers.
- Gather and monitor competition plans, policies, best practices &,initiatives and report to Jio Center and State S&D team.
- Propose requirements to push for better visibility in the territory.
