About the role
Mahindra Group's Chakan-based CDMM role focuses on global sourcing and cost development management for components, with exposure to the Algeria market ecosystem. The work covers BOM analysis, part localization, supplier assessment, and cross-functional coordination with IO, PP, and SQI teams. The role supports new product development through APQP/PPAP processes, export costing, and commercial technical sign-off.
What you will do
- Exposure to Global sourcing
- Understand Global market scenrio , Algeria eco system awarness will be added advantage
- Analyse the BOM and identify the part categories and parts for localization
- Processes Knowledge - Casting, Sheet Metal, Plastics, Machined Components, Hardwares Knowlede of process & FTG
- Shuld know measuring instruments and method of inspection for Casting, Sheetmetal components
- Well versed with supplier assessment at Global level
- Good program Managemen
- Co-ordination with different teams like IO Team, PP Team, SQI etc as a CFT member
- Well versed with New Product Development tools - APQP, VPPAP
- Good Knowledge oc commercial - SBC and finalise technical sign off as per process flow
- Well versed with export costing scenarios
- Well versed with SAP, TeamCenter, MS Office
- Ready to travel overseas as per requirement
- Good Communication Skills
