About the role
Bosch is seeking a C# Specialist to work within the automotive domain on automation and diagnostics. The role focuses on designing and enhancing automation frameworks and diagnostic tools, with database integration using SQL Server and PostgreSQL, plus Python scripting for auxiliary tooling and data processing. The engineer will handle on-board and off-board diagnostics, remote diagnostics and update capabilities with global teams, and mentor junior engineers.
What you will do
- Design and develop robust, scalable automation frameworks and diagnostic tools using C# as the primary language.
- Integrate database systems (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) for test data management, logging, and reporting.
- Work on on-board and off-board diagnostics, analyzing complex system requirements and proposing innovative automation solutions.
- Utilize Python for auxiliary scripting, data processing, and tool support.
- Collaborate with global teams to develop and validate remote diagnostics and remote update capabilities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in software development and diagnostics.

- Solid experience in automotive diagnostics, including CAN, UDS, Ethernet, and DoIP protocols.
- Hands-on experience with database design, SQL queries, and data-driven testing.
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting and data analysis.
- Experience with ECU testing, functional diagnostics, and control unit communication.
