About the role
IBM Consulting works with leading companies across industries, helping them shape their hybrid cloud and AI journeys with support from strategic partners, IBM technology, and Red Hat. As a Business Transformation Consultant specializing in IoT and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), you will develop and implement transformative business solutions for clients, applying in-depth knowledge of industry trends, market directions, and player dynamics. The role involves building PLM strategies, analyzing performance gaps, and selecting, implementing, and supporting Dassault and other PLM systems such as PTC Windchill, Oracle Agile, Matrix One, and Siemens UGS.
What you will do
- Develop Strategic Plans: Develop comprehensive strategic plans for clients in the IoT and PLM domains, applying in-depth knowledge of industry trends, market directions, and player dynamics.
- Collaborate with Clients: Collaborate with clients to create a PLM strategy aligned with competitive and market forces, identifying strategic capabilities needed to create and sustain one or more sources of competitive advantage.
- Analyze Performance Gaps: Analyze client performance gaps and develop comprehensive transformation recommendations to address these gaps.
- Implement Solutions: Assist clients in selecting, implementing, and supporting Dassault application portfolio, as well as PLM systems such as PTC Windchill, Oracle Agile, Matrix One, or Siemens UGS, Dassault.
- Integrate Technology: Leverage consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the client business environment to achieve client expected business results.

- Exposure to Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in IoT and PLM domains, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and digital twin.
- Knowledge of Industry-Specific PLM Systems: Experience with industry-specific PLM systems, such as those used in aerospace, automotive, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
- Understanding of Business Process Optimization: Exposure to business process optimization techniques and methodologies, such as lean manufacturing or six sigma, to improve client operations and efficiency.
