About the role
IBM Consulting builds long-term client relationships and helps leading companies across industries shape their hybrid cloud and AI journeys, supported by IBM technology and Red Hat. This role sits in the IoT and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domain, where consultants develop transformative business solutions using industry trends, market direction, and player dynamics. As a Business Transformation Consultant, you will build client PLM and IoT strategies, analyze performance gaps, and help clients select, implement, and support Dassault applications and PLM systems such as PTC Windchill, Oracle Agile, Matrix One, and Siemens UGS.
What you will do
- Develop Strategic Plans: Develop comprehensive strategic plans for clients in the IoT and PLM domains, applying in-depth knowledge of industry trends, market directions, and player dynamics.
- Collaborate with Clients: Collaborate with clients to create a PLM strategy aligned with competitive and market forces, identifying strategic capabilities needed to create and sustain one or more sources of competitive advantage.
- Analyze Performance Gaps: Analyze client performance gaps and develop comprehensive transformation recommendations to address these gaps.
- Implement Solutions: Assist clients in selecting, implementing, and supporting Dassault application portfolio, as well as PLM systems such as PTC Windchill, Oracle Agile, Matrix One, or Siemens UGS, Dassault.
- Integrate Technology: Leverage consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the client business environment to achieve client expected business results.

- Exposure to Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in IoT and PLM domains, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and digital twin.
- Knowledge of Industry-Specific PLM Systems: Experience with industry-specific PLM systems, such as those used in aerospace, automotive, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
- Understanding of Business Process Optimization: Exposure to business process optimization techniques and methodologies, such as lean manufacturing or six sigma, to improve client operations and efficiency.
