About the role
This Bosch finance role acts as a subject-matter expert for accounting operations, bridging Operations, FI-CO key users, and project teams to drive process excellence and KPIs. The role covers accounting standards and policy implementation, S/4HANA migration support, data cleansing, general ledger accounting, balance sheet reviews, statutory financials, month-end closing, and internal controls. It requires strong SAP FI and Ind AS/IFRS knowledge in a manufacturing environment.
What you will do
- Act as the finance subject-matter expert with strong SAP technical knowledge. Bridge Operations, FI-CO key users and project teams, and drive process excellence and KPIs.
- Advise Operations on process excellence.
- Steer accounting standards and process improvements with team leads and experts.
- Ensure implementation of new accounting policies / standards as per IND AS & IFRS
- Drive central and local KPIs with the team.
- Establish, define and monitor the local KPIs and steer them on a regular cadence to improve the process efficiency and timelines
- Advise on S/4 SAP migration considerations, and coordinate between Operations, FI-CO key users and project teams.
- Keep the Open Points List (OPL) updated and closed for major activities.
- Take responsibility for data cleansing activities (master data and open items).
- Control & Review General Ledger Accounting including maintenance and control over chart of accounts
- Ensure fiscal reviews on a monthly basis with the Record to report Head , Corporate Financial controller.
- Monthly balance sheet reviews and governance for all GLs in Trial balance
- Review and support the Statutory Financials quarterly as per IND AS:
- Month end closing activities and review of all key controls
- Ensure fiscal governance and internal controls including documentation of process, which includes closing Internal audit points
- Participation in special projects relating to Finance control & process improvements.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- CA/CMA Qualified, 5 years post qualification.
- Minimum 5 Years’ experience in medium or large manufacturing Industry in accounting functions.
- Knowledge on Companies Act 2013, Ind AS, IFRS, SEBI Regulations
- Must have handled Year’s Annual Audit as per IFRS / Ind AS.
- Exposure of SAP – FI system is must.
- Basic understanding of new age technologies like RPA, blockchain, PowerBI will be an added advantage
- Positive attitude with a longingness to learn
- Good communication skill.
- Understanding of IND AS, IFRS, SAP knowledge
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing industry.
