About the role
The Quality Assurance department at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd supports tractor manufacturing quality across assembly, paint shop, and PTCED shop operations. The role focuses on product and process audits, quality management systems, and resolution of new-product and customer complaints. The Assistant Manager will analyze assembly-line rejections and supplier parts, implement corrective actions, and support continuous process improvement.
What you will do
- As an Asst. Manager in the Quality Assurance department at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, your responsibilities will be crucial in ensuring the quality of tractors through product and process audits of tractor assembly, paint shop, and PTCED shop.
- You will utilize your expertise in sheet metal and plastic components, support continuous process improvements, handle new product and process implementation, and resolve concerns reported in new products.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for engine and transmission aggregate assembly functional knowledge, customer complaint analysis, and quality assurance functions in the assembly plant.
- You will play a key role in analysing customer complaints, assembly line rejections, supplier parts, and taking corrective actions to standardize all quality procedures.
- Your experience in quality management systems like ISO 9001, TS 16949, and TPM will be valuable in implementing best practices and achieving consistent product quality.
