About the role
The Body PU Maintenance team at Mahindra Group's Zaheerabad manufacturing facility is responsible for keeping body shop production equipment operational. The role covers robotic weld shop equipment, material handling systems, and sealant/IT gun equipment, with a focus on Fanuc robots and automated controls. The Assistant Manager will handle repair and maintenance activities, fault diagnosis, and programming modifications for PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and pneumatic fixtures.
What you will do
- Repair and Maintenance of equipment in Robotic Weld shop-Fanuc robots and Electro pneumatic fixtures, MIG welding machines
- Repair and Maintenance of Material handling equipment-Mitsubishi servo motors, Slat Conveyor, Elevators, Transfer cars, PRBs, Hoists
- Repair and Maintenance of IT Guns, Controllers, Sealant equipment
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics
- General Experience 3-7 years
- Expertise in Fault diagnosis, Corrections and Programming modifications for Fanuc robots and Waltherprazision ATCs
- Expertise in Mitsubishi (MELSEC IQ-R)& Siemens(S7300,S71500) PLCs, HMIs, VFDs programming and troubleshooting
- Hands on experience in Festo CPX series controlled pneumatic fixtures
