About the role
BlackBuck's Business Finance team supports key business decisions through financial analysis, MIS reporting, and business performance tracking. The role will involve financial analysis, MIS reporting, business performance tracking, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and supporting key business decisions in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. It is a qualified CA role for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience, based out of the Koramangala, Bangalore office.
What you will do
- Support business teams with financial analysis and decision-making.
- Prepare MIS reports and business performance dashboards.
- Monitor revenue, costs, profitability, and key business metrics.
- Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand financial requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather financial data and ensure timely reporting.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Present financial insights and reports to support business decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reviews.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
- Track financial and operational KPIs.
- Ensure adherence to finance policies and internal controls.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Qualified CA with 0–1 year of experience.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience can apply.
- Strong understanding of Accounting, Financial Statements, Costing, and Financial Analysis.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic formulas.
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Articleship experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Financial Reporting, or Management Reporting will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with relevant Core Finance experience will be preferred.
