About the role
This role sits within Mahindra Group's supply chain management function at the Haridwar plant, supporting vehicle assembly operations. The work centres on material procurement and inventory planning for automotive components such as machined parts, castings, forgings, sheet metal, rubber and plastics. The Assistant Manager - SCM ensures adherence to monthly procurement schedules, prevents line stoppages from material shortages, and drives packaging, cost and freight reduction using SAP MM and commercial/taxation knowledge.
What you will do
- Material procumbent for vehicle assembly.
- Adherence to monthly procurement schedule.
- Ensure no line loss due to non availability of material.
- Timely updation to superior to take quick decisions in the event of any criticality.
- Ensure material availability as per inventory norms.
- Packaging improvement and Cost reduction Freight Reduction

- 3 - 5 years of relevant Work Experience
