About the role
Jio is hiring an Area Service Incharge for Madurai to oversee after-sales service operations across service centers and care centers. The role involves coordinating with store managers and sales teams, managing service-center staff and engineers, controlling costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. It requires 6–10 years of after-sales service experience and a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech.
What you will do
- Establish and maintain the upkeep of service centers
- Liaison with store manager and sales team for service operations
- Ensure customer satisfaction to avoid escalation of issues
- Motivate and manage team of service center and care center personnel
- Responsible and accountable for service deliverables
- Mentor and counsel engineers whenever necessary,
- Control the flow of incoming calls for on-site support of services,
- Manage costs/expenses of service and care center within given guidelines,
- Ensure their is adequate amount of manpower to cater to all customer calls,
- Providing necessary skills/training to the team members based on needs and gaps,
- Ascertain care center personnel are working in sync to support walk in customers,
- Encourage the team to enhance their performance levels by identifying gaps and needs
