About the role

The Sales team at Ather Energy is responsible for building a network and establishing the blueprint for selling electric vehicles in India, driving the transformation of the two-wheeler commute through products like the Ather 450X, 450S, 450 Apex and Rizta, along with an extensive charging network. This Area Sales Manager role, based out of the zonal office in Pune and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, owns business growth in the assigned territory. The role focuses on driving sales through channel partners, building teams and systems for sustainable growth, managing retail partner relationships, and executing demand generation and operational excellence at partner locations.

What you will do

  • Drive sales through assigned Channel Partners
  • Build teams and systems that ensure sustainable sales growth while maintaining exceptionally high customer experience standards.
  • Foster and manage strong relationships with retail partners to ensure business thriving and alignment with brand vision.
  • Execute operational excellence at Channel Partners covering local demand generation and sales driving activities.
  • Analyze the sales funnel to identify problem statements, develop solutions, and motivate teams for implementation.
  • Deliver against steep ramp-up plans with a focus on scaling the regional business effectively.
  • Manage multi-stakeholder inputs from internal teams and external partners to maintain design and operational integrity.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and site assessments to ensure business health and consistency across locations.
  • Strategise and strive to improve Ather market share in the assigned territory
