About the role
This role sits within Bosch's ADAS application and calibration function, covering application and calibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems along with vehicle and system integration. The work spans calibrating torque-based control systems for gasoline and diesel powertrains, powertrain calibration and drivability, and system release tests on bench, lab and test tracks using tools such as INCA, ETAS Tools, MATLAB Simulink, SilVer, CoSym, Uniplot, Cameo and ASCMO. The engineer also supports technical discussions and negotiations with customers and cooperates with development partners (SYS, HW, SW, CAD) and the project manager.

- Experienced in technically leading / working on calibration development projects
- Experience in calibrating torque-based control systems (gasoline and diesel)
- Excellent knowledge of powertrain systems and sub-systems
- Good knowledge of developing engine management systems and testing techniques
- Knowledge & experience in using calibration & modelling tools e.g. INCA, ETAS Tools, Matlab Simulink, SilVer, CoSym, Uniplot, Cameo, ASCMO, etc.
- Experience in using analytical software tools to handle large volumes of data.
- Experience in Calibration Data Management (usage of iCDM & vCDM)
- Experience on powertrain calibration along with vehicle drivability
- B.E / B.Tech, M.E / M.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Mechatronics.
- 4-7 years
Preferred qualifications
- Setting Application parameters, System release tests/validation on bench/lab and vehicles
- Supporting technical discussions/negotiations with customers
- Cooperation with development partners (SYS, HW, SW, CAD) and project manager
- Providing requirements analysis and test planning
- Ability to understand, interpret and evaluate numerical data
- Knowledge of Modelling and Simulation techniques
- Sound understanding of engine combustion processes and emissions formulation
- Skilled in statistical testing techniques i.e. Design of Experiments (DoE)
- Complete work in a safe, timely and professional manner with minimum supervision
- Flexibility to undertake additional task to meet business requirements
- Excellent presentation & communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel as and when required.
