About the role
Qualcomm is a technology innovator enabling next-generation experiences and driving communication and data processing transformation. As part of the ASICS Engineering group, Qualcomm ASIC Engineers define, model, design, optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP (block/SoC) development for high performance, high quality, low power products, collaborating with cross-functional groups to determine product execution path. This role focuses on analog and mixed signal (AMS) silicon validation, including post-silicon bring-up and validation of Mixed Signal PHYs with high-speed links such as DDR PHY and/or Serdes.

What the employer is looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years
- The candidate should have good understanding of analog and mixed signal circuits with experience in high-speed links such as DDR PHY and/or Serdes
- Experienced in post silicon bring-up and validation for Mixed Signal PHYs.
- Pre-silicon experience in emulation is desirable.
- Experience with high-speed digital circuits, memories and lab. testing is desirable
- Experience with Tx/Rx equalization techniques and circuits like de-emphasis, CTLE, DFE is desirable
- Knowledge of DDR protocols is desirable
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and interact well with cross-functional teams such as design, boards, ATE etc.
