About the role
This role sits within Mahindra Group's manufacturing engineering function at the Mohali Plant 2, supporting new product development tooling, ORC closures, facilities and developmental activities within NPD timelines. The work covers PPAP documentation, procurement of machines, SPM, conveyors and MHE, installation and commissioning of equipment, shutdown planning, ECN implementation and process layouting. The position also involves capex planning, tightening tool procurement, time study, SAP and Teamcenter-based DFA and kitting for sub-assembly and main line assembly.
What you will do
- NPD- Tooling, ORC closures, Facilities and developmental activities within NPD timeline and preparing and maintaining PPAP documentation.
- Hand s on exp in Procurement of new Machines, SPM, Conveyors, PTO Dynamo Testing, Roller Bed testing and MHE.
- Installation and commissioning of Equipment's.
- Shutdown planning and execution.
- ECN implementation on line with closure of PPAP documentation.
- Layouting of Process flows and Machineries to create space and reduce NVA.
- Procurement of new tightening tools.
- Basic knowledge of Time study.
- Capex planning Y-O-Y.
- Basic knowledge of SAP.
- Basic knowledge of team centre for doing DFA.
- Kitting for knowledge sub assy and main line assy
