About the role
Mahindra Group's Mohali plant operates in automotive manufacturing and vehicle quality. This role handles shifts for final vehicle clearance, drives manufacturing and yard index improvements, and coordinates product, process, and system audits. It involves day-to-day assembly defect resolution, field visits to address customer and dealer issues, and application of quality systems such as FMEA, Kaizen, 5S, and QC tools.
What you will do
- Hand ling shifts for final vehicle clearance and Improvement in Manufacturing indexes, Yard Indexes.
- Conducting and co-ordinating for improvements for Product, process and system audit.
- Working on Proactive measures and improvement drives such as zero defect generation, Zero leak etc.
- Day to day problem solving for Assly defects.
- Field visits to understand customer and dealer issues and their end to end resolution (Reduction in customer issues.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Should have hand s on experience in hand ling manufacturing/customer quality in an OEM.
- Should have knowledge about ISO /TS systems.
- Should have knowledge about FMEA,Kaizens, Pokeyoke and 5S.
- Application of basic QC Tools.
- Inspection and Auditing skills.
- Application of Quality Systems.
- Knowledge of vehicle aggregates and testing.
- Knowledge of Assembly Process.
- Customer centric, Leadership, Man management skill
- Bachelor of Engineering; Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical; Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical; Diploma in Engineering
- General Experience 10-13 years
Preferred qualifications
- Added advantage if knowledge of 6 Sigma / TQM and TPM.
- Automobile Auto Components Automotive Industry Tractor Auto ancilliary IT
