About the role
The role sits within Honeywell India, supporting the organization's Teamcenter and Polarion product lifecycle management systems. The team focuses on keeping these systems optimized for performance and usability, driving continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards. This role handles functional requirement evaluation, impact assessment, testing, deployment coordination, end-user training, and monitoring and reporting for Teamcenter and Polarion, reporting directly to the Program Manager on a hybrid work schedule.
What you will do
- Evaluate Functional Requirements: Analyze and document functional requirements for Teamcenter and Polarion, ensuring they align with business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and clarify requirements, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of needs.
- Impact Assessment: Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing processes and systems. Conduct thorough analysis to identify potential risks and benefits, providing recommendations to stakeholders to aid in decision-making.
- Testing Management: Develop and execute detailed testing plans for Teamcenter and Polarion functionalities. This includes creating test cases, executing tests, and documenting results to ensure that all updates meet quality standards and specifications.
- Deployment Coordination: Oversee the deployment of updates and enhancements to Teamcenter and Polarion. Work closely with IT and other relevant departments to ensure that deployments are executed smoothly and that any issues are promptly addressed.
- Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training sessions for end-users on Teamcenter and Polarion applications. Develop training materials and user guides to facilitate understanding and effective use of the systems, ensuring users are confident in their abilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and product management, to ensure that Teamcenter and Polarion are integrated effectively with other systems and processes. Facilitate communication and alignment among teams to support cohesive operations.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor access changes and system performance, ensuring compliance with security protocols and best practices. Prepare regular reports on system performance, testing outcomes, and user feedback, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks associated with changes and deployments, developing strategies to mitigate these risks. Ensure that all changes are implemented with minimal disruption to operations and that contingency plans are in place.
- Access Change: Track and manage access changes to ensure that all users have the appropriate permissions while maintaining system security.
- Impact Assessment: Evaluate the impact of functional changes on existing systems and processes, providing detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Implementation Success: Drive the successful implementation of changes and enhancements, ensuring they are completed within agreed timelines and with minimal disruption.
- Testing Efficiency: Ensure that all testing activities are conducted as per Service Level Agreements (SLA), maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
- User Training Effectiveness: Measure the effectiveness of user training sessions through feedback and performance metrics, ensuring users are confident in utilizing the systems.
