About the role
Honeywell Building Automation (BA) is a global provider of products, software, solutions and technologies that help building owners and occupants keep facilities safe, energy-efficient, sustainable and productive, spanning building control software, sensors, control systems, access control, video surveillance and fire products. As an Advanced Engr Support Specialist, the role leads project engineering for multiple BMS projects across verticals such as data centers and commercial buildings, managing design, application and graphics engineers and subcontractors. The position owns delivery to defined scope, quality and cost, handles customer and stakeholder communication, and provides technical mentorship to the engineering team.
What you will do
- Lead & deliver multiple BMS projects from various verticals like Data center, Commercial etc. along with assigned project team
- Review tender documents -plans & specifications to derive scope, RFI, deliverables etc. and prepare project plan covering detailed hardware and software design, QC, FAT if applicable.
- Communicating with stakeholders, team members and project managers on project status, including progress, risk and any issues that may have an impact on project delivery
- Responsible for project related communication with customer. Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers/Location Co-coordinators and/or functional peer group managers; often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team
- Impart technical trainings as necessary. Act as a SME/coach for team members providing technical mentorship.
- Responsible for analyzing customer feedback and identifying appropriate actions to improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Ensure effective use of various engineering & workflow tools, adherence to laid down processes to achieve required delivery, productivity, quality & customer satisfaction goals
- Participate in selection process
- Participates in pre-sales estimate reviews to ensure necessary engineering labor is specified to meet contract requirements and sequence of operation.
- Knowledge transfer within and across the engineering teams.

- BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ENGINEERING OR EQUIVALENT RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- MINIMUM TEN (12) YEARS EXPERIENCE IN BMS PROJECTS ENGINEERING
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF SAP, CORA PPM & MSP TOOLS etc.
- EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Preferred qualifications
- PMP CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
