About the role

Visa Marketing Services is a revenue-generating consulting and marketing capability that helps clients accelerate growth through strategy, research, sponsorships, creative services, customer acquisition, engagement and portfolio optimization. This Manager role leads Marketing Services engagements across South Asia markets and India's fintech ecosystem, owning business development, client relationships and end-to-end delivery of marketing programs for digital-first financial services brands.
What you will do
- Manage Visa Marketing Services relationships across assigned South Asia markets and fintech clients in India.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with marketing, product, growth, partnerships and leadership teams.
- Identify client business priorities and proactively develop opportunities to grow Marketing Services revenue.
- Own proposal creation, commercial discussions, project scoping and ongoing account development.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and drive conversion to revenue.
- Design marketing solutions that address client business goals including:
- Customer acquisition
- User activation
- Retention and engagement
- Spend growth
- Travel and cross-border usage
- New product launches
- Brand awareness and consideration
- Develop integrated go-to-market strategies leveraging Visa capabilities and assets.
- Lead end-to-end execution of multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Manage internal stakeholders, agencies and external partners to ensure seamless delivery.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, reporting and governance.
- Ensure delivery excellence and high client satisfaction across all engagements.
- Act as a subject matter expert on fintech trends, challenger brands, digital banking, travel fintech, neobanks and embedded finance.
- Bring innovative ideas and industry best practices to clients.
- Develop scalable solutions tailored to fintech client needs and growth stages.
- Support client opportunities across markets including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and other South Asia markets as applicable.
- Work closely with local market teams to identify revenue opportunities and deliver regional projects.
- Adapt solutions to local market realities while leveraging regional best practices.
- Establish clear KPIs and reporting frameworks for all projects.
- Demonstrate impact through acquisition, activation, engagement, usage and business growth metrics.
- Support business reviews, forecasting and revenue reporting.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- 3-6 years of experience in marketing, consulting, banking, fintech, payments, digital growth or client management.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer lifecycle management and performance marketing.
- Experience managing external clients and complex stakeholder groups.
- Proven project management experience with multiple concurrent engagements.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with fintechs, neobanks, digital-first brands or payment companies.
- Exposure to banking, cards, payments, lending, travel or digital commerce sectors.
- Experience with sponsorships, partnerships and customer engagement programs.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
