  • Own the full dashboard/report development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, data modeling, design, development, UAT, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Translate complex Finance processes into analytical models and reporting frameworks that scale across the organization.
  • Understand data structures and cardinality and design effective data models for reporting in Tableau (using joins, relationships, and blending) and Power BI.
  • Design and maintain scalable semantic data models and certified metric frameworks on FDP in collaboration with Data Engineering teams.
  • Write complex, highly optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and manipulate data from enterprise data warehouse environments.
  • Partner with Data Strategy & Governance (DSG) and Corporate IT on cross-functional data model design reviews, UAT, and deployment planning.

  • Champion and drive the adoption of AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, Claude, AI agents, and emerging platforms) within the Finance BI team to improve day-to-day efficiency across research, documentation, code optimization, data analysis, anomaly detection, and narrative generation.
  • Build automated, AI-enhanced workflows using Power Automate integrated with AI capabilities to eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
  • Prototype and evaluate AI use cases for Finance analytics, including natural language data querying, AI-assisted report generation, predictive insights, and intelligent alerting.
  • Stay current on emerging AI capabilities and proactively identify new opportunities to drive efficiency and innovation across the Finance function.
  • Conduct data mapping, validation, and reconciliation across large, complex datasets, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies across source systems.
  • Document data lineage for all reports to ensure auditability and stakeholder confidence in reported results.
  • Critically evaluate existing reporting architecture for gaps, inefficiencies, and misaligned logic, and propose and implement targeted improvements.
  • Serve as the primary Finance BI liaison to Data Strategy & Governance (DSG) and Corporate IT for the design, development, and rollout of the Finance semantic layer, translating Finance reporting requirements into platform capabilities while ensuring the semantic layer meets Finance quality and governance standards.
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, validate solutions, and drive adoption of new BI and AI capabilities.
  • Present findings, reporting solutions, and AI-driven recommendations clearly to both technical teams and senior Finance leaders.
  • Collaborate across teams to accelerate decision-making on reporting standards, certified definitions, and ownership accountability.
