About the role

Motorola Solutions builds and connects technologies that help protect people, property and places, and its IT organization partners with the business to deliver innovative, outcome-focused solutions. The Global IT team supports and transforms enterprise applications including the Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle CPQ. This techno-functional lead role owns technical design, development, interfaces, integrations and L3 support for the Oracle EBS Service Contracts (OKS) module, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, BSAs, enterprise architecture and the technical team.

What you will do

  • Oracle EBS Service Contracts Technical Lead leads the technical design, development, customization, integration, and maintenance of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Service Contracts module (OKS). This techno-functional leadership role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, BSA’s, and the technical team to architect robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions.
  • Oracle Tools and Technical Skills : Good hands on experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher/XML Publisher, RICE Objects, Workflow or OAF.
  • Interfaces: Design and maintain interfaces between Oracle Service Contracts, Oracle CPQ, Oracle Order Management, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts payables(AP).
  • APIs & Frameworks: Good experience working on standard Service Contracts PL/SQL APIs (OKS, OKC, CSI packages).
  • Coding Standards & Best Practices: Oversee and conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and technical design verification to ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines.
  • Integrations: Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other middleware architectures like Mulesoft connecting Oracle ERP/CPQ using REST APIs.
  • End-to-End development experience as part of Implementations, Rollouts, Data Migration projects
  • Collaborate closely with business system analysts and the enterprise architecture team to translate business requirements via Business Process Documents, Technical Specifications and User Stories into scalable technical solutions across Oracle EBS and Oracle CPQ
  • Provide L3 technical support for production incidents, root-cause analysis, and continuous process optimization.
  • Good experience with AI tools like Gemini, Co-pilot etc to perform the technical activities on a day-today basis.
  • Dynamic to learn new technologies, products and features in Oracle
  • Lead and inspire your team to foster an agile and innovative culture.
  • Communicate risk/issues to leadership and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Systematic and organized in day-to-day operations.

Skills used in this role

What the employer is looking for

  • Education: B.E. / B.Tech degree in Computer Science and/or related field
  • Experience: 7+ years total IT experience with an emphasis on Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.1/R12.2) technical development.
  • 3+ years of dedicated technical experience working with Oracle Service Contracts and surrounding service modules.
  • Good to Have experience with Oracle Fusion migration projects
  • Detail-oriented, proactive & demonstrates independent thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to think strategically and suggest creative solutions
  • Ability to synthesize complex requirements into simple business practices
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction and learning about the business
  • Positive attitude, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Good understanding of Inventory, Order Management & Shipping flows in R12 and Oracle Fusion.
  • Understanding of Procure-to-Pay flows in R12 and Oracle Fusion.
  • Good to have technical exposure to Oracle CPQ, ODI, SFDC, OIC and/or Mulesoft.
  • Certification in Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud Technologies.
  • Passionate about evolving technology and promoting automation & AI capabilities for IT and business efficiencies
