About the role
Motorola Solutions builds and connects technologies that help protect people, property and places, supporting safer communities, schools, hospitals and businesses. The Platform Team works on microservices-based applications, and this role involves analysing, designing and developing code and test suites for Java, Node.js and Angular microservices applications. The developer works within an agile software development methodology with exposure to Linux, SQL databases, CI/CD pipelines and asynchronous Node.js programming.
What you will do
- Analyse, design and develop code and test suits.
- Proficiency in Linux & Database (SQL) commands
- Understanding of microservices and scalable architecture
- Test software development methodology in an agile environment.
- Work Experience on Jenkins & CI/CD is an added advantage.
- Experience in asynchronous programming and use of libraries in node.js

What the employer is looking for
- Commanding OOPs concepts and having experience and developing experience in NodeJS and Angular Microservices applications.
- Having good experience in Java Spring boot framework.
- Strong JavaScript and HTTP fundamentals and exposure to SOAP/REST.
- Hands on experience on JUNIT or automation or NodeJS frameworks.
- Knowledge on NO-SQL/Gridgain database is add-on.
- Good analytical skills and problem solving capabilities.
- Good attitude, flexible.
- Good communication skills.
