About the role
GE Vernova's GridOS Field team builds the field software that utility crews and field engineers use to capture and maintain constantly changing network information for Electric, Gas, Water and Telecommunications. The product is a single-tenant SaaS platform on hyperscaler infrastructure, with AI built in through the Prism platform, unifying many complex field workflows into one app and user experience. This role owns the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for GridOS Field workflows and its unified app/UX, working directly with utility customers and peers to move accounts off legacy tools like FieldSmart and AEMS.
What you will do
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for product and workflow inside GridOS Field.
- Owning the roadmap. Set direction for new workflows and enhancements to GridOS Field. Prioritize based on customer needs, technology changes, regulatory drivers, and business impact.
- Working with customers. Spend time with utility damage assessors, field supervisors, and control room staff. Validate real problems before writing a single requirement.
- Working with your Peer Product Management teams who also manage the product lifecycle of GridOS Field
- Driving delivery. Partner with engineering, design, and UX to ship high quality releases on a predictable cadence. Support the Lean operating rhythm.
- Working with Requirements Management tools: These tools help document and drive the roadmaps and priorities that help shape strategy, delivery and on-going improvements to GridOS Field
- Connecting to the platform. Make sure your products feel like one app with the rest of GridOS Field. Work with the UX PM and the other GridOS Field PMs to keep the experience unified.
- Using AI. Apply AI to speed up damage triage, image capture workflows, and data quality checks. Use AI tools in your own workflow to move faster.
- Supporting sales and delivery. Join customer calls, write positioning material, and help account teams win and deliver deals with Southern Company, PPL, and the accounts that follow them.
- Guiding customers off legacy. Help utilities move from FieldSmart, AEMS, and other legacy tools onto the modern GridOS Field platform.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for

- Working knowledge of utility field operations, outage restoration, or ADMS/DMS/OMS and other Field Maintenance Flows. If you have not lived it, you have shipped software to people who have.
- A track record of running more than one program at a time with a clear, data-driven approach.
- Comfort with AI tools in your own product workflow.
- Strong writing and communication. You can turn a messy customer conversation into a clear requirement, a crisp roadmap update, or a one-page memo.
- Commercial judgment. You can connect a product decision to a revenue, cost, or customer outcome.
- A Lean and Agile mindset. You adjust quickly when priorities shift, and you close things out.
- Education Requirements For US candidates: A Master's degree, or a High School Diploma/GED with at least six years of professional experience.
- For non-US candidates: A Master's equivalent, or a High School Diploma with relevant professional experience.
Benefits and support
