About the role
GE Gas Power, part of GE Vernova, builds cleaner and more efficient power technologies and energy solutions for customers worldwide. This role sits in the IT Sourcing organization and covers end-to-end execution of technical projects, with primary focus on Accounts Payables e-invoicing compliance projects, Application Governance Leader work for Sourcing applications (Tungsten, GRNI, Freight, Boicing), and evaluation of potential AI-enabled solutions. The position partners with functional product owners and cross-functional technical teams to deliver the Source to Pay technology roadmap within scope, budget, and quality.
What you will do
- Own overall product and project initiatives for Source to Pay (S2P) applications.
- Execute the S2P technology roadmap to support application rationalization, reduce costs, and improve business performance.
- Ensure compliance with and adherence to SOX controls for applicable systems.
- Collaborate with business, functional partners, and technology leadership to define and refine requirements.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen, stay current on industry trends, and serve as an internal subject matter expert on the product and competitive landscape.
- Lead technology discussions and shape strategy aligned with business needs.
- Define execution plans and delivery approaches based on project scope, timelines, budgets, and available resources.
- Foster alignment between functional and technical perspectives to support effective delivery.
- Partner with cross-functional technical teams, often spanning multiple organizations, to coordinate day-to-day execution according to plan.
- Collaborate with and manage external vendors as needed.
- Ensure established project management processes and practices are followed, while driving simplification and continuous improvement where appropriate.
- Support the execution team in resolving roadblocks and managing interdependencies; coordinate with technical and functional teams outside the project to ensure required deliverables are completed.
- Manage project risks, scope changes, and other non-standard events throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee stakeholder communications and provide regular progress updates.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with stakeholder expectations.
- Track project outcomes, value realization, and customer satisfaction using established metrics and service levels, and ensure lessons learned are documented.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college
- Professional background supported by significant experience in technology and sourcing business processes.
- Knowledge of procurement, purchasing, supplier, and accounts payable systems.
- Fluent English knowledge is essential
- Relevent experience contributing to full project lifecycles.
- Experience working with offshore teams, including development and/or application support.
- Foundational training and understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong team player who collaborates effectively with others to solve problems and incorporates input from multiple sources.
- Experience working with global teams and stakeholders across regions.
- Ability to apply knowledge to coach and mentor others.
- Demonstrated customer focus, with the ability to evaluate decisions from the customer’s perspective, build strong relationships, design processes with the customer in mind, and partner with customers to shape future initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, assess information and data effectively, anticipate obstacles, develop solutions, and translate strategies into actionable operational plans.
- Change-oriented mindset, with a track record of driving process improvements, leading change initiatives, addressing challenges creatively, balancing competing priorities, and executing effectively.
- PMP, ScrumMaster, or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
- Awareness of ITIL or similar IT service management processes.
