About the role
GE Vernova's Field Services and Maintenance organization provides the resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' sites, including preventive and remedial maintenance, repair and refurbishment of installed power equipment. The role sits in the electrical domain of switchyards, plants and machinery, covering MV/LV switchgear, transformers, numerical relays, battery banks and PCC/MCC panels. Based at Pune, Maharashtra and Gujarat, the specialist will maintain and troubleshoot these electrical systems, prepare energy consumption, shift schedule and MIS reports, monitor monthly SLAs, and coordinate with teams and customers.
What you will do
- Aware to prepare the energy consumption report, shift schedule, MIS. Monthly SLA montering.
- Exp. in Maintenance of MV switch gear - ABB make VD4 & HPA24, Siemens make 3AH3 series & Areva make LV Switch Gear Siemens, ABB, L&T Make.
- Knowledge of Numerical Relays, Mainly ABB Make-REC 610, 615 series, SPAJ 140C, Areva, Siemens 7SJ relays
- Maintenance of dry and oil type of Transformers up to 8 MVA transformers
- Thorough knowledge of Battery Bank, capacity test and maintenance of the same
- Thorough knowledge of VCB/ACB control system and its functioning
- Should have worked with PCC, MCC panels and done the maintenance of the panels,
- Should have knowledge of relay coordination.
- Should have knowledge of APFC/TSC/RTPFC maintenance & its troubleshooting.
- Should have knowledge of Earthing system & maintenance & rectification.
- Should have good knowledge in digitalization grid and electrical system.
- Must have some basic knowledge in HVDC & FACTS if possible.

- Should be a BE/Diploma in Electrical Engg. with 8-10 years of experience in O&M of switchyard, plants & machineries.
Preferred qualifications
- Should have good managing skill to handle the team and customer.
- Well English communication with good mail communication.
- Good knowledge in MS software, PPT, word and excel.
