About the role
Dell Technologies' Consulting team delivers customer-facing services that implement Nexthink products so they meet or exceed customer expectations of the solution's technical capabilities. The role focuses on Digital Employee Experience (DEX), covering Nexthink platform administration, endpoint agent deployment, telemetry analysis and automation across enterprise EUC/VDI environments. As DEX Lead and Nexthink Architect & Strategy Consultant in Bangalore, the consultant drives DEX strategy and governance with customer stakeholders, designs Nexthink content solutions, integrates with ITSM and directory services, and mentors teams on Nexthink adoption.
What you will do
- Strategy & Advisory
- Drive and facilitate overall DEX Strategy, providing thought leadership on governance and value proposition conversations with customer stakeholders. Serve as a client-facing lead for executive readouts across multiple programs or engagements. Create Success Plans, Roadmaps, and Value Realization documents to help customers achieve business objectives.
- Position IT leaders at the forefront of strategic decision-making by offering comprehensive insights into the Digital Employee Experience (DEX), empowering IT executives to shape the future of the digital workplace and aligning DEX enhancements with overarching business goals to drive productivity. Serve as a pivotal resource for long-term, proactive strategy development in optimizing the digital landscape.
- Use Case Definition & DEX Optimization: Identify potential use cases to improve user experience, stability, and performance scores in the Nexthink DEX tool. Build intake processes to gather requirements from stakeholders and participate in problem hunting sessions to identify opportunities in the environment. Using technical expertise and experience of IT Operations, design and author Nexthink Content Solutions which provide Digital Experience Monitoring across any given area of technology. Investigate and research how new areas of IT — such as cloud services, endpoint management, or thin client technologies — can be described and monitored from an employee-centric Digital Experience perspective. Achieve DEX maturity by incorporating Nexthink processes and technology into the organization and aligning IT services with business strategic plans.
- End-to-End Endpoint Installation & Platform Deployment: Install an endpoint agent on all devices connected to the Nexthink platform, choosing the endpoint agent and deployment path that matches the customer's environment. Manage all installation scenarios including initial setup, managed non-virtual infrastructure, managed virtual infrastructure, and managed hybrid infrastructure (deploying Nexthink Collector on endpoint devices and VMs where applicable). Manage the Nexthink Collector — a lightweight agent that gathers hardware, software, and activity data from devices; captures and reports network connections, program executions, installations, and other activities; and enables employee engagement through feedback retrieval and remote device actions. Manage the Nexthink Experience and Nexthink Infinity platform, with knowledge of migration to Nexthink Infinity, and ensure that Collector versions are kept up to date in the environment.
- Platform Administration & Technical Delivery: Maintain sufficient technical capability and current best practice knowledge to implement and operate all of Nexthink's products at an advanced level of competency. Install and configure Nexthink in line with the agreed solution design; implement all technical aspects of service delivery to the required standard of quality. Configure and manage Nexthink components: Collector, Engine, Portal, Remote Actions, and Campaigns. Integrate Nexthink with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and directory services (e.g., Active Directory). Demonstrate strong proficiency with Nexthink Query Language (NQL), investigations, dashboards, and reporting. Analyze telemetry, summarize findings, and translate insights into prioritized recommendations. Produce executive-level documentation, including implementation decisions, runbooks, and results reporting. Collaborate with global teams to support and mentor them as they develop Nexthink skills.
- Automation & Integration: Automate tasks, drive adoption, and integrate Nexthink with the IT ecosystem to maximize the impact of the digital employee experience strategy. Demonstrate proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, JSON, and JavaScript for building and maintaining Nexthink Remote Actions. Drive and implement automation initiatives within the customer's environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Training: Educate and empower Nexthink customers to take full advantage of the solution so it is fully adopted. Understand customer requirements to advise and implement a relevant Nexthink solution in line with industry best practices. Advise Customer & Partner leadership on leveraging Nexthink insights for endpoint modernization and service optimization. Train and coach teams on Nexthink investigations and visualizations. Work collaboratively with internal teams (sales, pre-sales, support, product management) and Nexthink partners.
