About the role
Adobe is hiring into its world-class engineering team in Noida for a project building the future of digital experiences, within a company whose platforms and tools (Creative Cloud, Experience Platform, Firefly and others) power creativity and personalized customer experiences. The role is an experienced software engineering position focused on C++ development of high-performance, large-scale applications. This engineer will invent, develop, and maintain software, conduct code reviews, evaluate technical feasibility of new features, and resolve complex technical issues while collaborating with multi-functional teams.
What you will do
- Invent, develop, and maintain software applications to ensure flawless performance.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to successfully implement innovative solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure guidelines are strictly followed.
- Analyze and determine the technical feasibility of new features and improvements.
- The role would from time to time require to collaborate with product marketing to evaluate and resolve new features to be added.
- Should be a proactive self-starter who can develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for attaining results.
- A specialist on one or more platforms and knowledgeable of cross-platform issues, products, and customer requirements.
- Fix and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

What the employer is looking for
- Minimum 9–12 years of experience in software development and engineering.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, debugging, and maintaining large-scale software applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with C++ and modern C++ standards, including C++11 and above.
- Strong understanding of C++ object-oriented programming, STL, templates, memory management, pointers/references, multithreading, concurrency, and exception handling.
- Experience in writing high-performance, scalable, and maintainable C++ code for complex software systems.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles, with the ability to apply them to real-world engineering problems.
- Experience with C and C++ interoperability and working with existing large-scale C/C++ codebases.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex technical issues and identify root causes.
- Experience with software development tools, code reviews, source control, build systems, and automated testing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering and diverse multi-functional teams.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of GenAI concepts such as RAG, KAG, LLM-based applications, and the latest developments in this area is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
