About the role
Nasdaq FinTech's APAC revenue organisation is building its presence in India and provides capital markets, treasury, risk, regulatory reporting and surveillance solutions to banks, brokers, exchanges and market infrastructure providers. Reporting to the APAC Head of Business Development, this sales development role drives outbound prospecting and pipeline generation for financial institutions, starting in India with scope to expand across APAC, without closing deals or carrying a revenue quota.
What you will do
- Own monthly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline across India and priority APAC campaigns, contributing directly to regional growth objectives.
- Develop and execute account-based prospecting strategies: map target accounts and buying committees, and identify key stakeholders and the business and regulatory initiatives behind them.
- Generate qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, event follow-up, and collaboration with Marketing and Partner teams.
- Partner with Account Executives and Solution Directors to execute coordinated account plans, hold discovery conversations and book qualified meetings.
- Use Salesforce, sales intelligence and AI-assisted tools to prioritise accounts, research prospects, personalise outreach and keep pipeline data accurate.
Skills used in this role

- Experience Level: 1 to 4 years in sales development (SDR/BDR), ideally in enterprise solutions

- Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in financial technology, capital markets, treasury, risk management, or enterprise SaaS.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing or selling strategies and sales intelligence platforms.
- Experience using automation or AI-assisted tools to improve research and prospect engagement.
