About the role

The Walmart Marketplace Product team builds the next-generation marketplace platform serving all Walmart e-commerce across the US and beyond, with the goal of driving seller productivity and improving experience and usability through adoption of product offerings. This Staff Product Manager role focuses on the Walmart Marketplace Seller Mobile App, defining and driving how sellers manage and grow their business on the go. The role partners with engineering, design, business, operations, and partner product teams across geographies to deliver mobile-first seller experiences on iOS and Android.

What you will do

  • Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Walmart Marketplace Seller Mobile
  • Identify high-value seller problems and build experiences that help sellers monitor their business and take critical actions on the go
  • Develop proactive and intelligent experiences using notifications, recommendations, contextual insights, and emerging AI capabilities
  • Partner with design and engineering to deliver simple, intuitive, and high-quality mobile experiences across iOS and Android
  • Partner with Seller Center and domain product teams to bring Marketplace capabilities to mobile and create cohesive cross-channel seller journeys
  • Use seller research, product analytics, and experimentation to drive adoption, engagement, task completion, and retention
  • Define reusable mobile capabilities and patterns that enable Marketplace teams to efficiently extend their experiences to mobile
  • Build scalable mobile experiences that can serve sellers across Walmart's global marketplaces
  • Drive alignment across engineering, design, business, and partner teams and communicate strategy, trade-offs, and progress to leadership

  • Strong product leader with experience building customer-facing digital products at scale
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce, marketplaces, or seller/merchant ecosystems
  • Deep customer empathy with an ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive experiences
  • Strong product discovery and analytical skills, combining customer insights, data, and experimentation
  • Ability to define product strategy while driving execution across multiple initiatives and partner teams
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with experience working across globally distributed teams
  • 12+ years of industry experience with minimum 6 years of product management experience; e-commerce, marketplace, or retail experience preferred
  • Proven experience taking products from discovery and strategy through launch, adoption, and optimization
  • Experience building mobile applications or mobile-first experiences; iOS and Android experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of mobile product fundamentals including engagement, notifications, analytics, performance, and experimentation
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering and design on complex customer-facing products
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner
  • Bachelor of Science and 5 years' product management experience OR Master of Science and 2 years' product management experience.
