About the role
The Silicon Validation team at NXP is responsible for comprehensive validation of SOC products built on leading-edge process technology nodes, working across global design, verification, applications, product, and test engineering teams. The role covers post-silicon validation and debug of multiple complex SOCs in parallel to support product release, including ARM-based MCU and Linux/RTOS platforms. This senior position also drives development of automated validation setups and scripts and provides technical direction to junior team members.
What you will do
- As a Senior member of Silicon Validation team , you will support Post silicon validation of multiple SOCs in parallel designed on leading edge process technology node.
- Work independently and provide technical direction for junior team members. Interface with and support Design, Verification, Applications, Product and Test Engineering, Marketing, and others.
- Validate and debug Silicon in support of product release.
- Develop and improve automated validation setups and scripts.
- Extensive experience in post silicon validation, able to automate the validation process to reduce the overall validation cycle time.

What the employer is looking for
- Experienced professionals with 3-5 years of experience in Post -silicon validation /Pre – Silicon emulation of digital SOCs.
- Solid experience validating complex SOCs.
- Good knowledge of microcontroller/ microprocessor architecture and instruction set.
- Strong experience in C programming language and Scripting (Python).
- Solid concepts on RTOS, working experience on Free-RTOS is preferred.
- Should be a Kickstarter in ARM Programming with Embedded firmware development using ARM MCU, Linux, and other RTOS platforms.
- Solid understanding of Key Peripherals: Clocking, Power Management, Ethernet, PCIe, Serdes , USB etc.
- AI/ML tools knowhow and demonstrates automation enablement for code generation & debug
- Excellent engineering documentation skills, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Well organized, methodical, and detail oriented.
- Experience in working with engineering experts in a multi geography, multi-cultural environment.
