About the role
The Red Hat Global Business Delivery Team supports sales operations activities for the Red Hat Executive team, with a focus on data quality, reporting, process management, and continuous improvement. The team works across cross-functional stakeholders on analytical and operational initiatives within Red Hat's enterprise open source software business. This role owns sales operations processes, analyzes sales data and reporting, maintains dashboards and CRM data governance, and drives process automation and improvement.
What you will do
- Own and execute sales operations processes, ensuring data accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
- Analyze sales data and reporting to identify trends, data gaps, and actionable insights.
- Investigate data integrity issues, identify root causes, and drive appropriate resolutions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support business decision-making.
- Support CRM data management, governance, and compliance across the sales organization.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve sales processes and operational efficiency.
- Support system enhancements, data migrations, and other sales operations initiatives.
- Leverage approved AI tools and technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Bachelor's degree; an equivalent degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience will also be considered.
- 2–4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, CRM Operations, or a related analytical role.
- Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM platforms, including opportunity management and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Understanding of the IT sales lifecycle, Sales Operations, and Route to Market.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis.
- Experience with data imports/exports, APIs, or CRM data management tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and drive them through to completion.
