About the role

Salesforce Professional Services delivers strategic engagements that define transformational opportunities and articulate clear plans for change programs, engaging executive-level customers on the Salesforce platform while considering people, process, and technology. The team works on enterprise integrations and coded solutions, with particular focus on Commerce Cloud B2B and Order Management System (OMS). This Technical Consultant role provides clients with strategic guidance, implementation, and support for Commerce Cloud B2B and OMS solutions, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions leveraging Commerce Cloud (B2B and OMS).
  • Design, configure, and customize Salesforce solutions to meet client needs, including but not limited to product catalog management, pricing, quoting, and order management processes.
  • Lead Salesforce implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B and OMS) implementations, including troubleshooting issues and optimizing system performance.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for clients to enable them to effectively utilize Salesforce solutions.
  • Stay current on Salesforce best practices and industry trends, particularly related to Commerce Cloud B2B and OMS, and proactively share knowledge with internal teams and clients.
  • Work independently and as part of a distributed team, taking ownership of problems and rapidly learning new technologies.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with key decision-makers, demonstrating strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Available to travel regionally and occasionally internationally depending on customer needs.
  • Champion an AI-first development workflow by utilizing advanced AI developer assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate custom Apex, LWC, and integration delivery while maintaining platform governor limit compliance
  • Practical fluency using AI coding assistants and modern development ecosystems to maximize daily development velocity, document custom code, and maintain strict platform security standards
  • Contribute to broader goals by becoming a citizen philanthropist and giving back to our communities through volunteering activities.

What the employer is looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Salesforce, with a focus on Commerce Cloud (B2B and OMS), or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successful Salesforce implementations, including experience with full project lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Strong understanding of B2B commerce and OMS processes and best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, including third-party systems and APIs, is preferred.
  • Experience in defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform, including coded solutions.
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, are a big plus.
  • Hands-on technical consulting and solution implementation experience for a major software domain (e.g., CRM, ERP, HR), including design skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as coding experience in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), or any other object-oriented languages/stack (Spring, Java, Angular, React, ...).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
