About the role
Intel's Supply Chain IT organization is seeking a Source-to-Pay Solutions Senior Lead with expertise in supply chain IT systems, SAP procurement modules, and end-to-end business process design. The role focuses on procurement and sourcing technology across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and Ariba, including integrations and connected platforms. This Senior Lead will partner with business and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable procurement solutions and lead project phases from requirements through Hypercare.
What you will do
- Lead FIT/GAP analysis, define To-Be processes, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Drive end-to-end implementations in SAP S4 HANA and ECC for MM/ QM and Inventory Management, including all phases of the project like requirement gathering, fit/gap analysis, development, testing (FUT/ITS/UAT), cutover, and Hypercare support.
- Strong knowledge of WBS elements, project structures, and the capital equipment procurement process
- Strong knowledge of purchasing, PR/PO/STR/STO, movement types, and consumption processes, outline agreements/ inventory management/ Master data/ invoice verification/ subcontracting and consignment processes.
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection, related master data, and QM configuration
- Strong manufacturing background will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge in working with complex customer developments, including interfaces with other boundary apps
- Knowledge of SAP PM/EWM will be preferred.
- Knowledge of a PLM tool will be preferred.
- Knowledge of AI initiatives will be preferred
- Partner with architects and cross-functional teams to review, refine, and validate solution designs.
- Provide domain expertise in Sourcing and Procurement processes, including direct and indirect procurement.
- Facilitate workshops to document As-Is and define To-Be processes for Procure-to-Pay cycles.
- Apply advanced proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, MM, IM, IDocs, ALE, EDI, and integration standards like Rosatanet, EDIFACT and X12.
- Work with collaboration platforms such as Blue Yonder, E2Open, OpenText, and related middleware tools.
- Utilize foundational knowledge in databases (SAP HANA, MSSQL) and IT analytics/reporting tools.
- Implement and support SAP Ariba Upstream (Sourcing, Contracts) and Downstream (Buying and Invoicing) modules.
- Contribute to projects using Waterfall, Agile, and basic SAFe frameworks.
- Manage multiple deliverables simultaneously while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
- Prepare comprehensive user documentation and training materials.
- Provide technical inputs for custom development including ABAP, BAPIs, and custom function modules.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, with 14+ years of experience OR master's degree with 13+ years of experience OR PhD with 12+ years of experience as SAP Senior Business Analyst.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with S4 HANA and implementing one full life cycle greenfield implementation
- Minimum three full life cycle implementations with SAP ECC.
- Proven experience in leading IT development teams and managing large-scale projects and budgets.
- In-depth knowledge of software development practices, supply chain operations, and data analytics solutions.
- Strong expertise in SAP S4 HANA, ECC, and other major business applications. /Gen AI.
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with internal business partners, third-party vendors, and service providers.
Preferred qualifications
- Agile, SAFe, or Waterfall certification.
- PMP or SPC certifications in project management.
- Prior experience managing delivery teams in supply chain planning areas, particularly demand planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
