About the role
This role is part of Intel Corporation's Power Delivery HIP organization, which focuses on providing advanced power delivery solutions to enable efficient and high-performing technologies. The team designs innovative analog and mixed-signal circuits that power Intel's cutting-edge technologies and support its broader computing mission. As Analog Circuit Design Engineering Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of analog circuit design and layout engineers, oversee development, validation, and optimization of analog and mixed-signal circuits for power delivery applications, and drive project execution and technical innovation.
What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analog circuit design and layout engineers in executing complex technical projects.
- Plan and manage resources, schedules, and priorities to meet design objectives and project deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on design specifications, requirements, and deliverables.
- Oversee the development, validation, and optimization of analog and mixed-signal circuits for power delivery applications.
- Ensure design quality and reliability while meeting performance and cost targets.
- Drive technical innovation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the team.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and technical insights to stakeholders and senior management.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 9+ years of experience in analog circuit design and development, OR Master's degree in a relevant field with 6+ years of experience, OR PhD in a relevant field with 4+ years of experience.
- Proven expertise in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including design, simulation, and validation.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
- Solid understanding of power delivery solutions and their impact on system performance.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to inspire and guide technical teams.
- Experience driving innovation, process optimization, or strategic initiatives.
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and effectively communicate technical ideas to diverse audiences.
