About the role
Paytm is India's leading mobile payments and financial services distribution company, pioneering the mobile QR payments revolution and building technologies that help small businesses with payments and commerce. This team drives change management in Human Resources, encouraging contingency and new challenges to do meaningful work for those they serve. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will lead the HR function centrally to partner and advise the business, managing a span of 300-400 product/tech employees and working closely with business and HR leadership to implement the HR strategy.
What you will do
- Drive governance on critical human resource metrics such as retention, and engagement cost for a fast-paced business.
- Engage work with key internal and external partners in a matrixed relationship for CB, Staffing, HRSS, and the business.
- Operate independently to ensure employee satisfaction and development of the team Train, mentor, and lead HR initiatives and Best Practices.
- Lead the way in implementing change initiatives related to culture, performance, recognition, and policies responsible for HR operations, Employee Relations, and Business HR teams.
- Promote alignment and collaboration across the organization, driving synergy and perspective, demonstrating the common process and consistent messaging.
- Understand the business and its challenges to help address the organization and people ask to assist with the change process as the company meets the challenges of hyper-growth and the need to partner with Stakeholders and manage senior stakeholders single-handedly to tackle business problems.
- Manage queries, issues, and escalations, if any other process/ task allocated as required participate in Knowledge Sessions within or outside the Team participate in events organized by the company deploy and monitor the performance management system for all employees, and ensure adherence to the process.
- Handling HRBP activities for a span of 300-400 employees.
- Handling engagement and retention activities.
- Executing Central Level Org Projects.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a core HRBP role.
- Must have handled Performance Management.
- Should be able to Review developmental plans & their execution for all employees.
- Must be able to execute and implement new strategies.
- Hands-on with MS Excel, PowerPoint, presentation skills and HR Analytics.
- Brief understanding of HR Compliance and grievances.
- Hands-on experience in digital tools / HRIS Management.
- Must be an MBA in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
