About the role
The Analytics Data organization builds and runs the data and AI platform that Autodesk teams use to capture, produce, and deliver analytics at scale, powering analytics and AI for nearly every part of Autodesk. This role owns how data moves into and out of that platform, covering inbound pipelines from products and other sources and outbound interfaces that deliver data to applications, dashboards, and AI experiences, with a direction toward self-serve, automated, real-time and batch delivery via consistent versioned APIs. The Product Manager will partner with a distributed engineering team to balance the needs of data producers and consumers against cost, freshness, and reliability.
What you will do
- Own the vision and roadmap for how data moves into and out of the platform
- Own reliability and freshness as measurable commitments, setting clear targets and reporting against them across coverage, time to onboard, and cost
- Give users clear visibility into the data they send and use, where it comes from, and what it costs
- Work directly with producers, consumers, and engineering to find what slows them down, turn it into clear requirements, and drive delivery
- Manage the full lifecycle, from new connectors and delivery patterns through migrations to retirement, keeping the platform current as sources, formats, and engines change
- Build in privacy, security, and compliance from the start
- Track streaming and big data trends, and run vendor assessments when buying beats building
- Be the go-to expert and advocate for ingestion and delivery, keeping documentation current and supporting everyone who builds on it
