About the role
Fusion is one of Autodesk’s fastest growing businesses, and India is a critical market for accelerating that momentum across APAC. Autodesk is hiring a Fusion Sales Manager for India to lead Fusion Land and Fusion Expansion sellers across the country, driving new customer acquisition and growth within existing Fusion accounts. This is a frontline sales leadership role reporting directly to the Japan-based leader responsible for Fusion Sales across APAC, working closely with Autodesk’s Sales Leadership in India and across APAC.
What you will do
- Lead Fusion Land and Expansion sellers across India, setting clear expectations and driving performance through coaching, development, and accountability
- Drive consistent execution across new customer acquisition and expansion motions to achieve Fusion revenue and growth targets in India
- Actively engage in customer conversations, deal strategy, and pipeline development while coaching sellers to move beyond product selling and engage customers around business challenges and outcomes
- Build strong partnerships across Autodesk India Sales Leadership, Technical Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Channel to integrate Fusion effectively into the broader Manufacturing GTM
- Develop repeatable and scalable sales motions and market coverage models that address the diversity of India’s manufacturing market and partner ecosystem
- Maintain strong forecasting discipline, healthy pipeline coverage, effective qualification, and consistent sales operations
- Partner with the APAC Fusion Sales Leader to shape India’s growth strategy and priorities, while identifying opportunities to scale successful India practices across the broader APAC Fusion organization
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- 4+ years of experience leading and managing sales teams, with a proven track record as a frontline sales leader in the software industry; experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or SaaS is preferred
- Demonstrated success in building, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams
- Strong field instincts with the ability to coach sellers through complex sales cycles and directly influence customer engagements
- Experience operating in a high-growth environment and translating strategy into disciplined field execution
- High standards for pipeline management, qualification, forecasting, and sales operations
- Ability to collaborate effectively across matrixed sales organizations and cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of the India market and the ability to navigate a diverse customer and partner ecosystem
- Ability to balance short-term revenue execution with longer-term market development and scalable business growth
- Strong competitive drive, curiosity, ownership, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment
