About the role
Cisco Intersight is a cloud-based system management platform for Cisco UCS and other products, using analytics and machine learning to help IT organizations analyze, simplify, and automate their environments. The role sits in the Intersight development team within Cisco's Data Center Compute portfolio and focuses on building scalable, highly available SaaS/cloud infrastructure software. The engineer will work with cloud-native technologies, microservices, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, and program in GoLang, Java, or C/C++.
What you will do
- Are you dedicated, hard-working, experienced in cloud native technologies and/or management systems experience and looking for a chance to create a difference? We are currently looking for talent to join our Intersight development team as part of Cisco's Data Center Compute portfolio (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/servers-unified-computing/index.html).
- Cisco Intersight is a cloud-based system management platform for Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System) and many other products which enables IT organizations to analyse, simplify and automate their environments. It is driven by analytics and machine learning to provide actionable intelligence for IT operations/management.

- The ideal candidate should demonstrate a system-level focus while understanding the impact of every component. Broad knowledge of and exposure to system management software are critical for success in this role.
- B.E./M.Tech. with 5+ years of experience.
- Experience designing and implementing software systems with high emphasis on scalability and availability.
- Experience working on SaaS Enterprise Software or Cloud Infrastructure with exposure to Microservices architecture.
- Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts and Design.
- Fundamentally strong in Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Expertise in programming languages like GoLang, Java or C/C++.
- Expertise in working with Dockers, Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with AWS.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record to handle challenging high-priority tasks.
- Independent, accountable, strong sense of ownership, aggressive, communicative, sense of urgency and flexible/adaptable.
- A passion for quality, for doing the right thing for the customers, the product, and for the company.
